Terminus Hotel

I have a fondness for the word 'terminus'. Often delineating some form of 'boundary', more literally it denotes the 'end of the road'. This makes places named 'Terminus' especially evocative, and I've always had a fascination with these places (such as here).
Often, there is no real clue as to why it was deemed a 'terminus'.
However, Pyrmont's boarded-up Terminus Hotel seems rather aptly named.

Old Favourite

An old pair of well-worn 'cowboy' boots. Something compelling about the texture of worn, black, slouchy leather.
